A whitewater kayaking festival that takes place in Courtenay, BC, on the famed Puntledge river. Playboating, Creeking and just good old river running. Spread the word and look forward to having a good time out here again this year.

The Cost for the event;
Adult – $35, Teen – $10, Local – $15 (with ID)
VIWPS – CKBC Membership (Mandatory for Paddlers): $15 per person, $30 per Family
Fee Includes – Camping, Shuttles, Insurance for the event, 1 Free Raffle Ticket
The campsite is conveniently located at the take-out of the river providing easy access to do several laps in the day. Shuttles will be provided.
Saturday 60 cms – 9am 1pm 85 cms 1pm – dusk
Sunday 85 cms 9am -1pm 110cms 1pm – dusk
Looking into the interest in holding a Down River race from Browns River Confluence to Tuslom Confluence on Saturday Afternoon. The race will feature a Big boat class and a Short boat class with a Mass start from Eddy on the Browns River.
Throw Bag Contest on Saturday Evening – Sponsored by Northwater. There will be a raffle draw held afterwards with many different items up for grabs – Gift certificates, PFD’s, Float Plane Flight, throw bags, paddling gear, and many more items. Raffle Tickets Sold Friday evening and through the day on Saturday.
