Early this year Daniel Inskip went out and ran Trent River Falls. Located quite close to Courtenay, BC this is a local swim/cliff jumping spot in the summer.

It has very easy acess, however finding the right flow can be interesting. Have a look at these shots below and remember that there is a twenty foot slide above this.

Nice Work Daniel.

There were people from all over at this years paddle festival. Have attached a few of the blog posts with videos and pictures. Check them out below.

Taken from Darcy’s and Don’s Small World Adventures Blog,

The Upper Puntledge is a very unique piece of whitewater that, unfortunately, doesn’t lend itself very well to photography due to the lack of eddies and super thick and bushy shoreline.
So, we have no photos, but Don put together a video from his Go Pro camera. It was mounted on his boat instead of his helmet so the perspective is a little skewed, but I’m telling you, it’s a lot bigger than it looks! The river, at the best flows, is roughly 3800 cfs. The river is 200-500 feet wide, often splitting into 2 channels, and is full of slides, waterfalls, and ledges. It’s a pretty crazy experience to be “creeking” on almost 4,000 cfs.

Anyhow, enjoy the video:

Another group that was out was a bunch of lads from Australia. They mostly toured the upper section of the puntledge and put a number of photos from Stotan and Nymph falls.

Have a look at there blog Go Boating Australia

This is a Slideshow movie by Bill Jorgensen shot at Tarp and Play.

More updates and changes coming soon.
